The babies arms and head, I believe are composition. I did try cleaning the dolls face and it helped alot but still think the doll could benefit from a deeper cleaning. There are some scratches to the dolls face, some rubs to the molded hair. Her arms & hands are crackled. The babies eyes open and shut and it's head turns.
The gown does have a stain and probably is not as white as it once was. Homemade Booties and Cap adorn this Baby. I think the rubber body on this doll is truly amazing that it has stayed in such good condition over the years is incredible. 10 Little Toes, A well padded Hiney, and a Precious Baby Face!
This baby is ready for your collections. Questions or comments are always a welcome and we ThankYou for your interest!
I do not know the environment my items have lived in and there could have been exposure to sun, mold, dirt, smoke, humidity, pets, dust-ETC. I do try to quickly clean/dust off things, unless it interferes with patina, etc.If I detect any foul odors, I will mention it in description. My nose is not real sensitive but I do try to detect any odors. The item "Rubber Doll VintageOlder Composition Head w Christening Gown & Bonnet Sweet Baby" is in sale since Sunday, February 16, 2014.
